The Kleptocracy is Not Human

SO WHY IS OUR EMPIRE ENDING?

Post-Modern is Not
The Kleptocracy (the Corpgovernchurchmedia) has ossified. The flowering of Post-Modernism is actually the last of great 600 year expansion of the modern world. Its the end. Its endless demand for expansion, consumption, its foundation on money as power, the corporate model, it hierarchical system: its over. The world wide empire of the modern era has consumed and leveled the world. The forest is at its apex. The fire is coming to renew the forest. Regime change is coming to the entire planet.

Prescribed Burning
The DNA of civilizations: the locked in policies, meme's, culture and legal systems slowly corrupts. The Elites making the decisions move to gated enclaves and vacation rentals and never experience the collapse. They cannot see and the feedback loops break and the empire falls. This happened to the Maya, to Easter Island, to the Greenland Vikings.

The New Kleptocracy: Its Not Human!
This is the twist - the feedback loop falls upon the ears of the Borg. The Corporate Borg - The Corg - machines that cannot see the fire in the distance. Massive Global Machines programmed only to seek profit and avoid lawsuits. Machines incapable of ethics, religion, morals - machines that don't need or even know that humans exist. A suite of interlocking planet-wide cyborgs made of computers and mid-managers. Evolution has no direction.

The Failing Systems List
  • Water
  • Petro-Agriculture: vast monocultures of petrochemical-driven farms, poisoning the world and killing the very consumers whom it feeds
  • Medicine: for profit
  • Education
  • Government - witness the entrenched protection of secrets, namely accounting
  • The Prison system
  • Marriage

Everything that has a beginning... has an end

FOR A THOUSAND YEARS the Modern World has grown - a series of expanding systems international trade, monetarization, the corporation, the church, agribusiness, democracy, medicine.
An open system that grows must take inputs. But then things change. Growing, expanding systems must change.

WRONG, KING DAWG, WRONG!
I was wrong, Post-Modernism is Still Modernism... it's just the last, big flowering... the tiny little twigs on the fine cashmere tips of the vast, rickety, old forest trees... our world system: Modernism - a huge success, has ossified... its going to seed

Michigan, Longstanding State, to Close

It is with great sadness that Michigan Governor Granholm announced the closing of the State of Michigan, effective immediately.
Since 1837, Michigan had been a stolid member of the Upper Midwest. But problems have been mounting since the 1970's, when the last white person quietly left Detroit. Adding to the suffering was Winter, an annual season of inclement weather that has proved unpopular with residents and visitors alike. Others blame a poor location, surrounded by Midwest on three sides, Michigan had only a lake front and no "Real Coast," now believed a requirement for a successful State.

"Without he car industry, I just can't be bothered" laments Governor Granholm, speaking about the demise of auto manufacturing, an industry in which innovations in blue-polyester cronyism were matched by unionized productivity-phobia and a razor-sharp focus on the richly-marbled waddling credit-gorged Middle America drive-thru consumer.

Already Sold
The oil-rich Canadian Province of Alberta has already purchased Michigan and quickly begun a rebranding campaign, positioning the new property as "Baja Alberta". Alberta plans to use the nicer parts as warm-climate socialist-retirement communities whilst the rest of the State will continue to be a storage facility for derelict industrial equipment.
